Powering Your Gimbal on for the First Time

Properly powering on your gimbal is important for good stabilization performance. Most gimbals require that you keep the gimbal and camera still on power up so that the controller can properly calibrate the IMU sensor's gyro relative to the ambient air temperature.

This process takes about 4 to 5 seconds to complete. Typically if you find that your gimbal stabilization performance begins to degrade while in use then you may need to power cycle and reset the gimbal.

For more information on proper startup and use please see the product tutorial videos on our videos page here.

Gimbal Startup
Set your gimbal down on a flat non-moving surface during power up. The controller should calibrate the gyro sensor with in the first 4 to 5 seconds.
